People who are out of shape (fat & unhealthy) try to do way too much at once, ie smashing the gym every day and then cutting back on cals at the same time. The clients I have had long term success with are the ones who listened and applied my advice, which is always making small, incremental changes along the way. There is a reason 6 out of 7 people have lost a significant amount of weight at some point in their life and then put it all back on! This is mainly because they have not put enough time in creating healthy habits.
